Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear for the CTET 2022 exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• For Primary Stage (Classes I-V): Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• For Elementary Stage (Classes VI-VIII): Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

How to Apply

Interested candidates can apply for CTET 2022 by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in. The online application process will commence from 10th March 2022. Candidates are required to fill out the application form, upload scanned copies of their documents, and pay the application fee as per the instructions provided on the website.

Exam Pattern

The CTET exam consists of two papers:

• Paper-I: For candidates who wish to teach Classes I-V
• Paper-II: For candidates who wish to teach Classes VI-VIII

Both papers consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and are conducted in offline mode. The duration of each paper is 2.5 hours.

CTET Syllabus

After the successful completion of the CTET exam, candidates can check their results on the official website. Those who qualify the exam will be awarded the CTET certificate, which is valid for a period of 7 years from the date of declaration of result.
